How do you turbocharge your online business? That is a million dollar question. Everyone wants exponential growth, but it doesn’t always come that way for entrepreneurs. It can literally appear you are birthing a child trying to build an online business. So what exactly can you do to grow?
You always begin with a specified written goal of what you are trying to accomplish in your business. The mind is like a gps; you tell it the end destination, and it will get to work getting you there. That doesn’t mean there won’t be detours and roadblocks. Think about traveling, you encounter road work, detours, wrecks slowing up traffic, and all other kinds of roadblocks. You keep driving though, no matter the speed because you have an end destination in mind. The same principles apply to building an online business. No matter what challenges you incur, you keep driving even if it is at a slower pace.
Let’s dive into some tips to help you stay on the path to your final destination.
Identify Your Highest Intention
Many times you hear, know your why in your business. I don’t know a business trainer out there that doesn’t tell you to define your why for why you are building a business, and it has to be bigger than the financial gains. You need to have some emotional ties to the purpose.
I will take it a step deeper based on a concept my personal coach, Tiffany Toombs. It is about having a defined intention to your life and business. When you die, what do you want people to say about you. Once you have defined your intention for your life or business, many times they will coincide, then you define what are your core values. You don’t stop there; you define how you will implement those core values daily in your business. So if one of your core values is authenticity, then you may state you will show up every day to serve others in your true and authentic self. You remain true to yourself and your values to further serve your purpose.
Once you have the intention set for yourself, then you know every day what actions need to be done to help you reach your highest intention in your business. I believe the why is the fuel for the vehicle in reaching your highest intention. Along the way, your why may shift and change, but your highest intention may remain the same.
Once you know what your highest intention is, you can base every decision on whether it is helping move you closer to your highest intention. This will help eliminate some noise you incur internally and externally.
Filter the Noise
Speaking of noise, let’s jump into how to handle it. Let’s just face it, noise is a part of the entrepreneurial journey. If it isn’t enough to hear the noise from the sidelines, you have it going on in your head.
Friend, you got to acknowledge the noise and ask yourself is it true or not. Many times, the things we hear are all lies. These lies will do nothing to move you forward in the business.
Knowing who you are and what you stand for, will help filter out some noise. There will always be naysayers, learn to be your own encourager for the days you seem to get beat up with noise. It is imperative you find some external support from those who may be on the journey with you and understands the mental demands which come from building an online business and can help you dissect the lies from the truth.
Discovering how to embrace the journey will help you maneuver through noise, because you just recognize it is part of the journey.
Don’t validate the lies. Journal the truth to the lies you are hearing. Reenforce who you are in the positive. Where the focus goes, the energy flows. You want the energy flowing to the positive.
Handle Roadblocks
When you hit a roadblock on the journey, what do you do? This is the time to see what you are made of, my friend. You were created for an abundant, vibrant life. You have inside of you everything you need to be successful. Sometimes, it just may be tucked away and needs to be unleashed. Realizing this journey is a marathon and not a sprint is essential. Everyone runs the course at different times. Just stay the course. Keep moving.
The roadblock can seem like the end of the journey, but it is not. This is the time to get extra clear on what your goal is in your business. Analyze do you have the core principles of the business in place? Do you know what you are selling, to whom you are selling it, and how you are selling it? This is where the marketing triangle comes into play.
Clarify the 3 Fundamentals
Marketing triangle.
It all begins when you craft a good message which conveys what you want to say to the marketplace. You want to get the Marketplace aka ideal client from Point A to Point B. Obviously, your product will be what will help move them from point A to Point B. You deliver your message on a media outlet such as Facebook, Facebook Groups, Instagram, Blog, or whatever media outlet you find your ideal client is hanging out.
We can identify any challenge an ideal client may have and address them in our message. Convey your message often. Use the power of repetition.
What, Who, & How
To be successful, you must have all three present. You must have a:
- good message to deliver
- to the marketplace
- and a media platform to deliver it on
What will you sell?
Who will you sell it?
How you will sell it?

Focus on One Thing
Avoid the Panic!
One of the common mistakes you can make as an entrepreneur is to panic. Yes, I know a feeling of sheer panic when things are so overwhelming. Stop the panic. Panic not the task is the enemy. The question is how do you not panic from the overwhelm when you feel you have way too many things to do and not enough time to get it done in the day.
We talked recently about goal setting, so you have set the goal earlier and you have envisioned yourself completing the task at hand, so your brain knows what you are going after. When the panic seeps in, feel the fear and then let it go. Know the brain is working for you, so relax a bit. Take some deep breaths.
Stay Focus on the Now
A swimmer may get panicked when they see the amount of space left to cover not because they don’t know how to swim, but from the pure overwhelm of the amount of water left to cover. This is the same concept that happens to you, when you felt overwhelmed at all the tasks left to do in the business.
You just need to focus on individual tasks that need to be done. That is where a daily action plan is critical to your success with an online business. If you would like to dive deeper into a daily action plan created, tried, and shows great success, look at the Super Accelerator Affiliate Course. The course provides a daily action plan that has gotten hundreds of great results.
The key is to quit trying to do so much. You need to trim away some excess from your day. Focus on one thing and master it. The overwhelm will come when you are trying to grow a Facebook audience, upload YouTube videos, and oh I need to post on Instagram.
The panic you are feeling will stop the process if you are not careful. Trust yourself and continue on with focused action. Breath deeply, get peaceful, and trust you already know the steps to speed up your online business.
Be Consistent and Resilient
Finally, consistency and resilience are essential when building an online business or just life. It is not a one shot kind of game. You will test and course correct continually to be successful. You just have to be consistent in your actions.
Continually shoot at the goal and tweak your technique. Even though it feels like you are in the final seconds of the games, there is always overtime. Sometimes a new game plan is required, but you play and adjust along the way.
Resilience is defined as the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness. It is the key, I believe, to succeed in the online space. You rarely hear of overnight success, the successes come from months and sometimes years of doing the wrong thing, pivoting and tweaking, until they finally found the right strategy. Then they increase those actions. You just have to keep showing up and brushing yourself off when you get knocked down.
Wrapping Up
In wrapping up, when you define your intention for your business, discover how to process and filter the noise, realize roadblocks most likely will be part of the journey and discern when you need to stop, slow down, even speed up, learn to relax and avoid the panic, get really clear on the 3 fundamentals of an online business, and keep showing up each day with the grit it takes to succeed, you will find yourself winning at this online business game.
